Matthew Shirk
Owner+Mechanic
Growing up in a quaint Amish community, I was born in a bicycle shop that my family owned for generations. Surrounded by the rhythmic sounds of tools clinking and tires hissing, I quickly developed a knack for bike repair. My childhood was filled with the sights of vibrant bicycles, each telling a story of adventure and freedom. With my family's commitment to craftsmanship, I learned the importance of attention to detail and the satisfaction that comes from fixing something with my own hands. In our simple, technology-free life, bicycles became a bridge to the outside world, and I embraced the art of repair with passion and dedication, ensuring that every bike was not just functional, but a cherished companion for those who rode it.
